The Fluidity Series continues my quest for mindfulness, patience, healing, and balance. These 14 inch square canvases are first “drawn” on with plain water, then acrylic ink is applied with a dropper to the wet lines. What happens next varies depending on the particular pigment, tipping and rotating of the canvas, and air movement over the surface. Slight movements create slight changes. Then the water mix evaporates, leaving the pigment behind. Repeat. It is not a hurried or predictable process, and I find it relaxing.
